Transpersonal Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy works through a state of deep relaxation. It releases buried fears and trauma so that these feelings and experiences can be re-integrated into the psyche in a creative and positive way. It is particularly effective in resolving anxieties, lack of confidence and self-esteem and physical symptoms of no apparent cause, including performance nerves.
Self-hypnosis and the use of the creative imagination are valuable tools in self-healing.
Transpersonal Hypnotherapy emphasizes the intention of releasing stuck patterns and moving toward a sense of greater integration and wholeness. I find that, when we choose to work consciously with this awareness and perspective, the other skills which we have acquired on our inner and outer journeys are significantly amplified in experience and affect.
I see hypnotherapy as a form of healing: both with the voice and through deepened (but completely safe) states of awareness. Trance-like states are a natural phenomenon - you only have to sit and watch a burning fire, flowing water, or even oncoming headlights on a busy motorway (a well-documented danger on the roads) to recognise the truth of that. We respond to rhythmic stimuli and, when this state is entered into and we are accompanied by a facilitator who has a gentle and truly healing intention trusting the wisdom of the recipient's psyche, then deep, life-enhancing connections can result. These enable changes, which very soon become discernible to our waking consciousness.
This work helps to dislodge previously stuck experiences and re-integrate them without re-traumatisation.
... we learn to surrender to the grace of the rhythm of the universe, and slip from our physical bodies into the Dreamtime.
